what is BEZ KEPT SECRETS?
It’s a Collaborative Arts Project
May 9th is also release day for this exciting album and coffee table art book that celebrates original music and visual art created in community and in support of the vibrant creative initiatives at BEZ Arts Hub.
The book contains 14 original song lyrics with the commissioned corresponding visual artwork on the facing page.
This unique limited edition book will include a CD (the music will also be live on all the streaming platforms) and will be available for purchase at the May 9th event or for pre-order through the link below.
what is the ART AUCTION?
It’s an opportunity for you to buy these original artworks.
14 Visual artists were paired with songwriters from the Bez Community Stage. They were given a rough demo recording of a song and the lyrics and while the songwriters headed off to Fort Records to record, the visual artists set to crafting these powerful and provocative works.
May 9th the art will be on display in Studio 2 at Bez and the art auction pre-viewing and bidding is available on-line

Community Festival
Juneteenth Community Festival is a historic celebration of freedom with live music, room for dancing, food and drinks, and a gathering of the the people of Langley and the surrounding region, that aims to educate, empower and embrace the diversity of this community, giving people a taste of the unique expression of Black music and culture as derived from the challenges of oppression, perseverance, and hope. It’s a fun parking lots party in front of Bez Arts Hub—we’d love for you to join us!
Bez Arts Hub
Friends of Bez works in partnership with performing arts venue Bez Arts Hub to support artists, provide scholarships for arts students and so music more! You can check out all of the concerts and classes and performances that Bez Arts Hub offers here.
Bez Arts Hub provides the space and the programs and Friends of Bez provides the support for students in need of scholarships, artists in need of residencies, concerts in need of subsidies/support for emerging, veteran or notable artists.
